At The Housing Revival Project, we focus on action. While our work is steadily growing, we are already making a measurable impact in Baltimore communities through direct housing support and property redevelopment.

Direct Housing Support

Our focus begins with people. The Housing Revival Project is helping families and individuals remain securely housed through direct rental support and housing assistance. This work extends into several Baltimore neighborhoods where stability is most needed:

  • Sandtown-Winchester
  • Carrollton Ridge
  • Millhill

Alongside direct support, we are advancing redevelopment projects that will expand access to affordable housing in Baltimore.

In addition to our housing work, The Housing Revival Project is committed to creating meaningful opportunities for people rebuilding their lives. Through partnerships with local rehabilitation and support programs, we have integrated paid work opportunities directly into our housing projects.

These partnerships allow individuals in transition to contribute to property stabilization and community revitalization while gaining hands-on experience, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose.

By connecting housing development with real work opportunities, we are helping participants take steps toward long-term stability while strengthening the neighborhoods we serve.

Building on our current work, The Housing Revival Project is preparing for a major expansion in the Pigtown neighborhood. Beginning in early 2026, we will be developing multiple properties in this high-need corridor, transforming long-vacant structures into safe, affordable homes.

This initiative focuses on properties with the capacity to house multiple families and individuals, ensuring that our efforts not only preserve buildings but also expand the number of residents who can access stable housing. By advancing several properties concurrently, we are reinforcing the housing pipeline, preventing further loss of affordable stock, and laying the groundwork for long-term neighborhood revitalization.

Our upcoming work reflects more than renovation — it is about reclaiming community assets and converting them into lasting housing opportunities for veterans, returning citizens, and other residents at risk of displacement. Each property brought back into use represents another anchor for stability and growth within the community.
